This is a wonderful letter I received after just a short programme of email
coaching.
Dear Sue,
Hi, how are you? I don't know if you remember me, but i was having problems
with my six year old little boy. He was lacking in confidence, and self esteem,
and i was in a bit of a state, blaming myself and getting rather upset , which
is why i came to you.
Well, Sue , just a couple of months on, you wouldn't believe the
transformation! Ben's confidence has come on in leaps and bounds, and though
hes still a little unsure of himself at times, his progress, or should i say,
OUR progress is amazing.
With your invaluable advice in mind, coupled with a greater self belief, i
decided to really nuture Ben, and basically , all that involved was a great
deal of love, time and heaps of praise and encouragement.I let him know every
single day how precious he is , not just to me, but to the entire family, and i
tell him i have so much faith in him, and his abilities, even if time is short,
i grab a quick cuddle, and try and ensure i spend time with him every day, even
if its just a quick game of footie in the back garden.
Well, Sue, i wish you could see him now.........
It's almost like there's a light inside him, burning so brightly , whereas
before there were only glints of brightness, hes come to life in a way i never
thought possible.
He seems to have gained this wonderful lust for life, and enjoys so much about
life, whereas before, he was quite solemn, and few things caught his attention.
Now, he comes home from school with this lovely enthusiasm, and tells me about
his day, yesterday he was telling me about Henry Moore, the sculptor, and how
cool he thought he was, so today my hubby's going to take him to the local
museum to look at the sculptures there.
It's so lovely, Sue, he even plays with the other children in our neighbourhood
, whereas, before, he would stay indoors and watch telly, despite all my best
efforts to motivate him.
I really do feel that all this started the day i contacted you, you gave me the
wisdom and the know how, and the support i needed to help him, and we both
thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
He has progressed in a way i never thought possible, but there he is, this
wonderful, happier, much more self asssured little boy , and its delightful, it
really is.
Now i have to work hard to build on the good work and ensure he goes forwards,
not backwards, but I'm over the moon with the little boy i see before me, and I
pray he will grow in confidence and self belief.
Well, i just thought you would like to know about Ben's progress, as its all
down to you, and i say it again THANK YOU Sue, you have helped us so much, and
thanks to you, Ben's future is looking so much brighter than ever
before..............
